Bookkeeper Girl Presents at Neighborhood Empowerment Summit

The City of Denton is presenting the 2nd Annual “Neighborhood Empowerment Summit” on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 8:30 a.m until 2:30 p.m. The summit will be held at the Denton Civic Center at 321 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas, 76201.
The theme of the summit is “Transitions and Transformations: Result Focused Leadership”. The purpose is to provide training in four areas – leadership development, civic empowerment, community building, and neighborhood management.
Topics include:
. Building a Foundation for a Successful Community
. Show Me the Money: Sustaining an Organization’s Financial Health
. Planting Seeds: Growing Community Partnerships
. Mentoring Our Youth: The City of Denton Police Department’s Summer Program
. Transforming Community Issues into a Successful Organization
Kim Cash, Owner and President of Bookkeeper Girl will be conducting two sessions entitled: “Show Me the Money: Sustaining an Organization’s Financial Health”. The first session will be held from 10:25 a.m. – 11:25 a.m. and the second session will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
